KÄRNTNER MESSEN is the most important organiser of trade shows, specialist exhibitions, conferences and technical meetings in Carinthia, the central location in the Alpine-Adriatic region. The trade shows organised by KÄRNTNER MESSEN enjoy an excellent international reputation. Every year up to 10 trade shows organised by KÄRNTNER MESSEN itself plus some 200 events of other organisers take place at the Klagenfurt Exhibition Grounds. The City of Klagenfurt holds a 48% share in KÄRNTNER MESSEN, Kärnter Landesholding and the Carinthian Chamber of the Economy each hold 26%.
